It is an Andean fruit known as uvilla, named as “Physalis peruviana l.” from a plant of the Solanaceae family and its fruits grow and ripen inside its calyx.
The Ecuadorian Uvilla benefits from the soil and microclimates existing in the country, which gives it greater sweetness, color and intense aroma, resulting in a flavor and appearance very pleasing to the senses. These characteristics have allowed us to produce a wine with exotic flavors for international gastronomy.
